The Precision Ag Specialist is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing precision agriculture technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency for GUSS dealer/customer relations. This role includes working closely with GUSS dealers/customers to provide technical expertise, support, service and training.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Implementation and Maintenance:

    • General knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical theories and principles, properties of various materials, and principles of operation of electronic and hydraulic equipment.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure optimal system performance.

Customer Support and Training:

    • Provide support and training to GUSS dealers regarding GUSS sprayers, parts, equipment and software.
    • Assist customers with troubleshooting and optimize the performance of precision systems.

Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with GUSS support team, sales team, assembly technicians and dealer/customers to deliver precision ag solutions.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to GUSS dealers/customers and internal GUSS team.

Continuous Learning and Development:

    • Stay updated on the latest precision ag technologies, trends, and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required) in related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience preferred (not required) in precision agriculture, ag technology, or related fields.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
    • Physical ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Robotic Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing GUSS autonomous agricultural sprayers. You will play a vital role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our cutting-edge autonomous machines, working closely with customers and internal teams to provide exceptional technical expertise, support, service, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support and Maintenance:
    • Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical theories to maintain equipment.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Installation and Deployment:
    • Install and configure GUSS systems at customer and dealer locations.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
    • Conduct routine maintenance on GUSS autonomous sprayers.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving hardware and software components.
  • Customer and Dealer Support:
    • Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of GUSS autonomous sprayers.
    • Provide on-site and remote technical support to address customer concerns.
    • Deliver support and training to GUSS dealers and customers.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate service records, including repairs and system performance data.
    • Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to dealers, customers, and the internal GUSS team.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in related field preferred but not required.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
