Job Title: Robotic Field Technician
Location: Kingsburg, California
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Robotic Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing GUSS autonomous agricultural sprayers. You will play a vital role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our cutting-edge autonomous machines, working closely with customers and internal teams to provide exceptional technical expertise, support, service, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support and Maintenance:
- Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical theories to maintain equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Installation and Deployment:
- Install and configure GUSS systems at customer and dealer locations.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Conduct routine maintenance on GUSS autonomous sprayers.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving hardware and software components.
- Customer and Dealer Support:
- Train end-users on the operation and maintenance of GUSS autonomous sprayers.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to address customer concerns.
- Deliver support and training to GUSS dealers and customers.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate service records, including repairs and system performance data.
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to dealers, customers, and the internal GUSS team.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in related field preferred but not required.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel as needed.
- Physical capability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
